36 Pier Street

At 36 Pier Street is the home of one of Perths longest operating independent record stores DADA’s (yep it is still around even today). In the eighties is was also home of the fledging record label Easter Records. Under the guise of Kim Williams Read Interview with Kim Here (Holy Rollers, Summer Suns) the label released some cool 7 inches (and a couple of EP’s) which really captured the mood and sound of Perth scene in the 80’s.  Here is the bill for an “easter” parade with headlined by one of Easter label signings the marigolds (with a little help from rabbits wedding and the creepers).
